Test preparation is very important for all the students, and includes TOEFL, SAT and SAT Subject test, AP Chinese Language and Culture, Chinese with Listening. Double Star provides test preparation for all students wishing to study at the university level in the United States. Tutors will provide individual support for international and domestic students using materials that meets the standards of the College Board.

Double Star also seeks to provide Heritage Speakers (or Chinese Americans) with additional resources that are not provided in public or private schools. These students can benefit most from a program tailored specifically to Heritage Speakers in terms of pacing and content. The Chinese with Listening Subject Test is a great way for Heritage Speakers to demonstrate knowledge of written and spoken Mandarin.
